Have a Financial Question? Ask a Financial Services Professional.
November is Financial Literacy Month, which is organized by the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada. The goal is to help coordinate the efforts of organizations from the private, public and non-profit sectors to strengthen the financial literacy of Canadians. It’s a great goal because many Canadians are in the dark when it comes to their financial matters.
To help encourage people to ask questions, Desjardins Financial Security Independent Network created a campaign running during the month of November: Have a financial question? Ask a financial services professional.
I encourage anyone who would like to talk with a financial services advisor to not be shy or hesitant but to pick up the phone or send an email or even drop by and I’ll put you in touch with an advisor to answer your questions.
